The 8th “Only Watch Charity Auction” is scheduled to be held in Geneva on November 9th. Many top watch brands fully support and donate unique timepieces to support the research and development of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, benefiting more patients. Bell & Ross’s recently launched BR05 series is the brand’s new generation of classics, and the only style that the brand has donated is the only one that supports the charity. The new BR05 series exudes a strong sense of urban style, and its design and functions adhere to the four principles that Bell & Ross respects for clear display, functional utility, durability, reliability, and precision.
The “Only Watch Charity Auction”, held every two years, is led by the HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, and the auction is organized by Christie’s. A total of 52 watch brands participated in the auction this year, and Bell & Ross donated the unique BR 05 Skeleton Gold Blue watch for good bidding, raising money for the Monaco Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy Association.
The design of the BR 05 Skeleton Gold Blue watch is a model of the BR05 series. The case and strap are the same, the lines are in one go, and the size ratio is just right.
The 18K rose gold case contrasts strongly with the dyed blue sapphire glass dial. The dial is inlaid with rose gold hour markers and a see-through movement. The faceted pointer is treated with superluminova ® luminous filler, regardless of the light and dark environment, which does not hinder the clear display function.
The BR 05 Skeleton Gold Blue watch is equipped with the BR-CAL.322 self-winding movement designed by Bell & Ross. The traverse oscillating movement is exquisitely crafted; the back of the watch is engraved with the ONLY WATCH, while the sapphire glass back is gold Metallized and lined with a blue ribbed rubber strap.
The watch of this year’s auction was first unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show on September 25th, and then to the world’s ten cities on November 9th. The public can see the charity watch. It will be exhibited at Christie’s Taipei branch from October 31st to November 1st. This year’s “Only Watch Charity Auction” will be held at 2 pm on November 9th at the Four Seasons Hotel in Geneva. All donations will be donated to the Monaco Duchen Muscular Dystrophy Association.
