Bell & Ross has a deep relationship with the Renault F1® team. In commemoration of the fourth year of cooperation between both parties, Bell & Ross has launched the BR 03-94 R.S.19 watch. The new watch incorporates the Renault F1® team design elements. The color scheme is inspired by the team’s steering wheel. The carbon fiber material in the watch is also a high-tech material common to F1® racing.
Viewed from the side, the satin-finished stainless steel case has superior texture, and the square-shaped lines are smooth and tough.
The round two-way chronograph bezel and the square case form a classic “square in a round” shape. The grooved design on the bezel makes it easy for the wearer to operate even when wearing gloves.
The crown and chronograph function buttons are located on one side of the watch. The crown is engraved with the classic “&” LOGO pattern of Bell & Ross, and the non-slip texture design is used around, which is convenient to hold when adjusting the time. The rocker buttons on both sides of the crown are used to control the timing function, which is derived from the shift paddles on the F1® steering wheel, making racing elements everywhere.
The dial is adorned with a checkered flag pattern at the end of the Formula One circuit, demonstrating the speed and passion of the car. Since the birth of the Bell & Ross BR RS series in 2016, they have adopted the yellow and black colors that are representative of the Renault F1® team. However, this year’s new models have added green, red and orange colors of cockpit buttons as inspiration.
The timing function of the dial can measure the speed and performance of the car; the speedometer scale on the outer edge of the dial can calculate the speed of the car traveling a certain distance. The hour markers on the dial are derived from the Renault team’s special type, a date display window is set about 6 o’clock. The watch combines the stylized aesthetic design of the racing car with the brand’s aesthetic concept to create a watch with chic personality.
The black perforated rubber strap highlights the sporty look and is paired with a pin buckle.
